Case is of a perforated design which makes operation with forced air feasible for very high power inputs
Power handling:
Although stated as designed for up to 1000W RF, this is NOT continuous operation.
Continous RF input: 100W would be relatively safe
Short period RF input: 250W for up to 6 minutes
500W for up to 2.5 minutes
1000W for up to 1 minute
By using forced air into the case and across the resistive element, these short time power handling abilities are effectively doubled e.g 1000W for up to 2 minutes
COSMETIC CONDITION: Excellent with no damage to the labelling or casing
TESTING: Used very occasionally and never overloaded - in as new condition
Nice unit for the benchtop when working with low to medium power transmitting equipment up to the low UHF frequencies
