Far superior to linear power supplies when precise, stable voltages are required in a very compact form.

A linear power supply is much heavier (for the same current capabilities) and the open circuit voltage for say a 7V output could well be up around 11-15V until under load - some equipment will not like this at all.

This power pack provides REGULATED slide switch selectable:

7 - 6.5 - 6 - 5.5 -

5 - 4.5 - 3V DC output @ 2.5 Amp

6 - 6.5V DC output @ 2 Amp

7V DC output @ 1.9 Amp

at up to 1.9A load (13W)

Just slide the red switch on the unit to the desired output voltage.

WARNING!!!

NOTE: Current output plug polarity is currently set as

Centre hole = NEGATIVE

Barrel = POSITIVE

This is reverse to the polarities commonly used in domestic/IT equipment but is often found in audio processing equipment for rack mounting.

The DC plug is removable and the polarity can be easily reversed by the user. The word TIP stamped into the cable end and the plug is marked + or - so with care you will not accidently reverse the polarity.

Just the one DC plug supplied, as fitted - it has a 2mm centre hole, 5mm diameter barrel and the barrel is 12mm in length

The DC power cable is 170cm long
