HISTORY:
Very sad to see this C141R BSR turntable go "under the operating knife" but it's useful life had passed (failed motor) and it has become an organ donor to breathe life into another C141R - these BSR decks are nothing special but it's all about the history and BSR has plenty of it!

Part # 36 on the parts diagram but funny enough, I cannot locate the idler wheel (which would have told me the part number) in the parts list

MEASUREMENTS:
Diameter: 39.25mm
Thickness: 2.45mm
Metal centre with a shaft hole (3.75mm diameter) and a brass bearing sleeve.

CLEAN
After almost 50 years since leaving the factory, this idler wheel is still in great condition.
The rubber rim has no flat spots or other damage.
The rubber feels pliable but not soft, nor is it 'rock hard'
Metal centre sleeve is clean and free of previous grease
Since dismantling the C141R, this spare part has now been sealed in plastic to protect it from the environment, particularly the rubber, and stored in a cool environment (ever seen what happens to rubber when it gets hot?)
