GRUNDIG Primary AC Transformer with aux board - Fully functioning

I had a beautiful sounding Grundig Space Fidelity PA3 system (see the photograph of this 1990's contemporary system - space age looking and fantastic sound!) Unique side-lobing mid & tweeters in the "wings"

However, sadly the CD loader failed so I have decided to "part out" the useful components of the system

In this advertisement I am offering JUST the primary AC power transformer and the attached auxiliary board.

Very nice high quality design/built transformer from Grundig, Germany. Note the use of the wide copper band around the former, a sign of the best transformers. This band acts as shield (it is taken to ground) not only for "electronic noise, especially at 50Hz) but also protect surrounding devices from induced currents caused by the transformer magnetic flux.

Auxiliary board: 594050-900.00

This transformer supplies the audio power amplifier plus provides
the +24V which is important for the speaker output protection circuit and thermal overload circuits plus others.

I have the full service manual which details the connectors involved and their pin numbers - very clear and easy to follow.

One of the photographs provides the schematic of this board.

The flying leads you can see in the photograph are the low voltage (50-0-50) AC supply to the audio power amplifier, complete with female spade connectors.

Dimensions: 140mm length x 100mm wide x 100mm height

Conventional 4x holes/bolts provided on the transformer frame for mounting securely.

If you match this up with the audio power amplifier board, you have a nice custom 80W+80W power amplifier, ALMOST ready to roll (you still need yet another +12V supply for the main power on-off relay).

Fully functioning immediately prior to removal from the PA3 yesterday.
