I am cleaning up ALL the various leads, patch cables etc that we had on hand hanging in the audio workshop area and sitting in drawers. Each lead is advertised separately and I have attempted to provide as much information as possible about each lead.
ALL have been professionally assembled, using high quality components, no point in testing pro audio gear with dodgy leads!
Here is one of those leads ...

LEAD ELECTRICAL INFORMATION:
I have checked the connections between both ends of the lead.
The connections are straight through, pin for pin with every pin being connected.
The outer metal body is NOT connected through the lead to the "far end" metal body and there is no connection between any pin and the outer metal body.
It might be obvious but a quick glance could fool someone into thinking this was a Midi cable (5 pin circular pattern) - this is NOT a Midi cable
You are most likely going to need one of these if you are involved in the world of synth's and music programmers - commonly used with older musical instruments/equipment of that type.

Now that my examination of this lead has been completed, it has been returned and sealed within the original clear plastic packet.
