HISTORY:
Sustainability is the name of the game! Anything (that has been tested and still functioning properly) should be repurposed creating saving in wasted Ee and reducing the poisoning our environment when items are buried in the earth at the local tip needlessly.
Never heard of Ee? It is a concept that creates a measurement of ALL things (not just electronics) that humans have made and the energy used in obtaining the raw material, processing the materials right through to a finished product and even should include the shipping of the item to the distributors/retailers.

UNIDENTIFIED - Audio Cable
Used in our workshops for various very small diameter custom cables, this is an "off cut" from the roll
Black PVC sheath
Single strand, single core
High coverage braided shield
Tinned braid and centre wire conductor
DIMENSIONS:
Sheath 2.5mm OD
Sheath thickness 0.25mm
Insulation material is PTFE, substantially unaffected by heat (nice to use when soldering onto the plug/socket terminals)
Insulation measures 1.25mm OD
Single strand (tinned) inner core, 0.22mm diameter
High quality audio cable, which we often used for custom "small diameter" plugs and sockets used in interconnect leads
TESTING:
Measured the capacitance of this lead and worked out the pF per foot as 18pF - not outstanding but certainly very good for most low level signal purposes. I have not undertaken any impedance tests.
COSMETIC CONDITION:
NEW Old Stock
NO external damage
NO water damage or other such nasties!
Just one length of 11 metres is available, nicely rolled up and in a sealed plastic packet awaiting a "purpose in life"
