ECLIPSE 160 - Pin Chuck
Made in England (Sheffield)
Supplied with 1x collet fitted (the bit in the middle that grabs the drill bit)
I would have thought the collet size would stamped onto the metal somewhere but I couldn't find it - anyway, comparing with the complete set advertised separately, this is the 0.75 – 1.5 size collet
Pin Chucks are used for the gripping of VERY small drill bits, mainly in lathes (tail stock) where the Pin Chuck does not revolve.
NOT recommended for hand drills, these pin chucks are most commonly used with a lathe
1/4" shank
I am not a dealer, happy enough to recover my original costs and just hoping to find a new owner for the masses of our other workshop bits & pieces I am uncovering - once this Pin Chuck with collet is sold, there will not be any ongoing supply.
COSMETIC CONDITION:
NO RUST OR OXIDISATION OBSERVED
Chuck moves freely and easily
Collet looks "like new" with no damage to the 3 fingers
Smooth screw on section of the chuck
I have now sealed this orphan pin chuck into a clear plastic packet, ready to go off to a new home!
