These VU meters and associated components have been tested - functioning fine

Both lamps are functioning - measures 7.7V AC across each incandescent lamp when lit

Both meter pointers sit nicely at rest on the far left of the scale with no signal
Checked operation when the cassette machine was operational - smooth pointer movement, no sticking.

Front scale section is designed to fit into a front panel recess.
Measures 31mm x 51mm
Whole body of the meter movement measures 47mm x 54mm x 15mm deep EXCEPT where the actual coils are, in this area the depth is 23mm excluding the two solder terminals
Mounting screws included for the PCB but there are no screws for the meters, they are intended for "push fit" use
In operation, the top/backlight system is very nice visually - a good even lighting of the meters
