This motor was removed from a PIONEER Z93 Midi System (cassette deck) and this motor is often found in other cassette machines from Japan, not just PIONEER product.
I am very much "into" sustainability and even an insignificant electric motor represents a reasonable amount of embedded energy and to waste that embedded energy is a very bad thing, how crazy is it to create something and then we have finished with it, bury it in the ground.

I have now packed this motor into a sealed clear packet, awaiting a "new purpose in life"
