SPARE PART: VU Meter assembly including the backlight unit
COSMETIC CONDITION:
Meter faces are unscratched
Meter faces have no cracks or other marking to the clear plastic
Short wires left on the solder tags to assist when used to replacement defective meters in existing equipment.
Complete with the backlight assembly
TESTING:
Both meter pointers move smoothly and sit at zero with no signal - no issues with the meters at all
However, the incandescent lilliput bulbs in the backlight assembly - ONE is faulty (open circuit) but the other is still ok.
Cold resistance of the working lamp is 37.5 Ohms
As the printed circuit board has a series resistor already, it would not be a big task to convert the backlighting to LED based design and change the series resistor to suit.
