As I do not have the switchers, its tough testing this unit. I have power up fine, the red tally lights to either side of the main display light up upon power on.

The display is fully lit when powered up (green led based) - displaying no characters but all of the leds are active (not 7 segment but a matrix of 5x7 for the display of alpha-numeric characters.

There are four concealed controls on the front panel, brightness and 3 way menu navigation - none of these have any effect on the display.

Inside, on the PCB, I have these leds active:

RUN

ERROR

TXD0

INT

I am assuming I have an error indication because there is no system connected to the display.

Connecting a serial cable to the diagnostic port does light up the RXD0 led on the board but she won't talk to me (protocol settings unknown)

Nice epoxy encased DC power block providing -5V at 3A - measured and the voltage is spot on.

I have attempted to communicate with the box via the diagnostic port but it doesn't seem to be listening to me.

I do have the Jupiter interconnect manual but that doesn't assist with talking to this box very much.

Worse comes to worse, nice aluminium 1RU case, DC power block and 8x led alpha-numeric green displays (5x7 matrix)
