Very collectable pop up book dealing with The British Royal Family with emphasis on the young couple, Prince Charles and Princess Dianna
6 pop up pages of scenes from the six years prior to 1984 showing "the best loved family in the land in a variety of settings" (Quote from the marketing blurb on the rear cover)
Each page has detailed text explaining the scene being portrayed - focus is on the young couple, Prince Charles and Princess Diana
1: Garden scene with the Royals
No damage at all to the engineered pop ups - move the princes arm and the dog jumps to get a ball, move another prince's arm and he pours a drink for Princess Anne.
Mum and Dad (The Queen and Prince Philip) busy cooking the snags at the BBQ!
2: Balcony scene at Buckingham Palace. Pull the little tabs and you have the kids waving, Prince Philip waving and you can make Princess Diana kiss Charles!!

3: The Royal Couple at Ayers Rock. Sitting in their Landrover, pull the tab and a kangaroo (with joey) appear from behind a bush
