Oh Dear! This item has been sold but take a look around for other similar items

Johnson Brothers of Stoke-On-Trent were well known potters who produced many items in the tableware line.

Just a little bit of interesting history - the four Johnson brother's father married the daughter of master potter, Alfred Meakin - thus a close link between Meakin and Johnson Brothers.

In the late 60's, Johnson Brothers joined the Wedgewood Group.

Their Dawn series of tableware is well known for the plain body colouring

Tea saucers ONLY

Fine China (you can see through it - very delicate)

Small - 12cm or 4.5" diameter

Pink all over - no design work although fancy edge finish and in the central area of the saucer

Now the period of manufacture is a bit vague here - most obvious is the makers mark NO CROWN.

Now the Dawn series began around 1918 but we seriously doubt these are from those early production days.

The Royal Warrant was granted to Johnson Brothers just after WWII so we tentatively suggest these saucers date from around the early to mid 1940's

NO cracks to any piece

NO discolouration

NO crazing above but all pieces have light crazing occurring on the underneath

ONE small flea bite to the outer edge of ONE saucer only

Very petite tableware, it's a shame we don't have (or cannot yet find) the cups to complete these as a set.

$10 for the 3 saucers, not each
