24 Hour Party People was a film made in 2002 about Tony "Mr Manchester" aka Anthony Wilson and Factory Records, he being one of the co-founders of the label. But Anthony Wilson was much more than a label dude, he actively promoted the Manchester music scene, ran the Hacienda club and hosted various "deep and meaningful" television music shows, such as After Dark.

This is a great collection of songs from the movie soundtrack, so many stand out songs from the classic bands in this era

Joy Division

Sex Pistols

The Clash

New Order

Happy Mondays

And more ...
