Cassette packaging is in very good condition
Before playing I repacked the tape, and visually inspected carefully the clamshell, rollers and head pressure pad - no issues with the shell or tape at all
This is a plastic welded type clamshell so if ever it was required to "get inside" to relube, etc then the best of luck because getting this type of clamshell is extremely difficult and usually you will end up destroying the tape - best to leave the clamshell alone.
I have then played this tape entirely, crisp clean sound MOST OF THE TIME and no significant problems with "drop outs" or high frequency loss EXCEPT a couple of times I imagined I heard a slight drop in "highs" - not really bad but perhaps there was a short tape issue (twisting) but OVERALL, this tape still plays fine.
