Function: Phototransistor with peak response in the infra-red spectrum (see the graph in one of the photographs)
This is the -3 version which is capable of a higher load current (IL = 8mA)
Rounded lens on top of the casing, this provides a narrow field of view (18 degrees)
Gold plated body and leads
