Yes, this American Audio professional CD player/sampler is an old one but perhaps some people are still running these and need a few spare parts.
We had a number of these in service but now have offloaded most of the machines and "parted out" one machine resulting in some parts that may be useful to repair/restore other CDI-300 mp3's

Top of the block has LITON stamped into the body with 2x arrows indicating the direction of light from transmitter to receiver.
Gap is 5mm wide
4 pins, 2 for the TX and 2 for the RX
These are photo interrupter blocks, emitter on one side and receiver on the other.
These are PCB mounted and sit underneath the jog wheel/effects platter which has a special ring of slots passing between the transmitter and receiver of these blocks, creating pulses which are sent to the main system. Two blocks are required, so that the directional of rotation can be detected.
These photo interrupter blocks are solid state, no moving parts.
COSMETIC CONDITION:
Both blocks are in excellent condition
Pins are of the original length, no cuts or damage
TESTING:
Fully functional prior to removal from the equipment but not tested again after removal.
Stored and supplied in sealed plastic to maintain their condition.
