Old technology for sure (actually still in use until 2002 at a National Broadcaster) but these are useful parts for a R & S equipment restoration project
Front Panel Operator Button Top Caps
One lot - ALL the push button caps (as described below), these are not being offered individually.
All plastic
Most have a window for the led indicator (intergral with the switch) except the blank white top caps
These push fit/clip onto the 8536 button switches on the PCB behind the front panel
COSMETIC CONDITION:
Clean with no damage to the legends
HOWEVER - in removing these (and I was careful but after all these years the plastic has become a little brittle) 3x top caps had one of the slot pairs damaged, this means that 3 top caps fit onto the switch assembly but do not lock into place properly...
The button top caps affected are 1Khz, INT, WGHT
All the remaining buttons are fine.
The plastic in the area of the two tiny slots is brittle and thin, TAKE GREAT CARE WHEN FITTING BACK ONTO THE SWITCH
